Gingerbread Man Hunt

During the first couple weeks of school we were learning our way around the school and who works in those special rooms like the cafeteria, nurses office and the office. We read the book The Gingerbread Man. Then we made our own gingerbread man. We asked the cafeteria ladies if they would bake it for us but to be careful we did not want him to run away. The next day, we went back to the cafeteria to pick him up to eat and HE RAN AWAY! We looked for him all over the school. Here are some of the notes we found around the school.




After we finished looking around the school we came back to our classroom and found him in our room!

All About Me

We started the year off learning about ourselves. We read the book All About Me.






Then we made pictures of ourselves. We learned about our eye color, hair, favorite colors, age.

Then we compared ourselves to our friends to see who was like us.
